Product:Netscape Navigator 1.1
Operating system:Windows

If you need to use a Cyrillic font with the Netscape Navigator 1.1,
then first obtain the font "iso-8859-1" from "ftp://ftp.elvis.ru/" and
install it on your Windows system, so that it appears in your Windows
"Fonts" control panel.
Then edit your NETSCAPE.INI file to add these two lines:
        [INTL]
        Font0=iso-8859-1,K8 Arial,12,K8 Arial,10
If there is already an "[INTL]" section and a "Font0=" line in your
NETSCAPE.INI, then just modify the "Font0=" line to look like the one
given above. Alternatively, you could just go into the "Fonts and
Colors" part of the Netscape Preferences dialog, and select the proper
fonts and encoding there.
This procedure will also work with other fonts. (Note that the Font1
setting is used for Japanese fonts.)
