Patch for problems between Netscape Navigator and Frontier SuperTCP

Technical note:10108

Product:Netscape Navigator
Operating system:Windows

If you try to use the Netscape Navigator on a Windows PC that has
Frontier Technologies' "SuperTCP" networking software installed on it,
then you may run into several problems, and you might not be able to
connect to any web sites.
This is a known conflict between the Navigator and SuperTCP. Our
developers worked on this with Frontier's developers, and we found
that the problem lies in the socket numbers that SuperTCP is setting
up for the Navigator. Frontier has created a patch for SuperTCP which
fixes this problem:

Also see "http://www.frontiertech.com/netssdet.htm" for details on
specifically what problems this patch fixes.
